Certified Practitioner Spotlight - Jennifer Rhines, CMIP®

Hi Jennifer! Tell us about your background and credentials in health and wellness:

Before entering the health and wellness field, I enjoyed a long career as a professional athlete—one that included representing the United States in 3 separate Olympic Games. When I retired from pro running, I transitioned into becoming a coach and now work with many elite athletes across the globe. In addition to my work in Track & Field I also got certified as a health coach with a focus on sports nutrition. While I enjoy both of these practices immensely, over some time I began to sense that there was an element, or a level of depth, that was missing in helping people achieve their goals. It was this feeling that there was something more out there that drew me to become a certified medical intuitive. I feel that what I know now from my intuitive work really helps to fill that gap in identifying spiritual and emotional aspects that may be the root of the blocks that are hindering my clients from fulfilling their fitness and wellness goals.

What drew you to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™?

I listened to a podcast interview with Wendie Colter and was drawn to the way she spoke both ethically and pragmatically about her practice in medical intuition. After some further digging on the internet, I discovered that she offered a certification in medical intuition and felt that it would be the perfect fit. I found that the structure of the program was extremely helpful in developing the use of intuition as a skill. I really appreciated the way the material was taught in each class and how Wendie greatly impressed upon us the importance of how to practice this work ethically and with the aim of being able to work in and with the medical field.

How does Medical Intuition support your professional practice?

I’ve always felt that I had a natural ability to read the energy of those around me. I utilized that skill to help me perform better as an athlete, and I continue to use it now in my coaching business. By utilizing the skill of medical intuition, I am able to not just sense what’s on the surface but see and identify the energetics that may be causing emotional, spiritual, and physical challenges to the people I am working with. It allows me to help those clients that are willing to flesh out the root causes of the blocks that may be holding them back from their full potential, both as an athlete and a person. I believe that medical intuition helps me do a more complete job as a coach and mentor with those that are open and willing to embrace it.

How does Medical Intuition support your personal life?

Medical intuition has helped me learn to pay more attention to and readily address the signals that my body is sending me. It helps me to act sooner rather than later when I am forced to do so. It has really helped me to be more “in my body” and not see my mind and body as two separate entities. The work has also helped to cement the belief that a physical issue may be manifesting itself just so that it can get a hold of my attention. It is acting as a signal for me to pause and to listen so that I can take time to understand the bigger picture and make a course correction when needed. Most importantly, practicing medical intuition has given me the ability to experience the huge difference in the quality of work that I am able to offer others when I am grounded and aligned energetically.

Is there anything else you would like to let people know?

I find it very rewarding when a client tells me after completing their first session that they were initially quite skeptical that I would be able to provide any valuable information to them but were then quite surprised and pleased at the value they took away from the reading. Several clients have told me they would not have been open to a medical intuitive reading, but they were drawn to my practical and grounded style, and so they were willing to give it a try. I attribute a small part of this to my general demeanor, but I attribute much more of it to my training in The Practical Path® program. My hope is that if we can get more practitioners utilizing this method, it will continue to open up the field of medical intuition as a whole. If we can get more people to access this knowledge base, I truly believe that we will have a great impact in the health and wellness space, and the paradigm will shift to a much better place for all.
